Happy easter!

April 12th 2021

Yesterday was Palm Sunday, and my family and I marked the occasion in a traditional and quiet manner. We had a brunch that focused on freshly made bread, eggs, and tea. This is a special tradition for us and it is one of the highlights of the Easter week. I have work for the next couple of days before the holidays can really start in full swing. Work has been busy lately, and we also released new products last Wednesday. On Saturday, I spent time with my closest friend and his family. His son is turning four soon, so we had a nice small celebration outside with a bonfire and pizza made in a special pizza oven designed for use on open fire. The smell of bonfires has a calming effect on me. There is something about the scent that takes me back to my childhood memories and brings me joy. It’s nice to have these memories that I can revisit whenever I want.

I will be hosting the dinner with my coworkers on Thursday. On the menu is mutton with gratinated potatoes, vegetables, and thick gravy. It will be delicious. It will be a very fun evening with such a great bunch of people.

I have been informed that A will prepare dinner for us on Saturday, which will probably be the highlight of the year thus far. I get the impression that she is a skilled cook, well-educated, and talented with a great sense for combining tastes. I will provide more information about the upcoming holidays in my next post.

Until next time!
