Summertime, and the livin’ is easy

June 7th 2021

The first week of June has already passed by quickly. The weather has been amazing and summer is in full swing. I have had work almost every day of the last week, attended two birthday celebrations, and there are many more lined up for this summer. I am hoping that the weather will remain pleasant and warm so that we can spend more time outdoors.

I have spent several afternoons and evenings outside, searching for nice places for A and me to go camping. I am pleased with what I have found. There is one particular place that I really liked. It’s a wide and open area next to an old forest and a calm river. It’s a perfect place to pitch a tent and make a small fire when it gets dark and cold. Maybe we can even catch a fish or two! We’ll see, I guess.

First things first, I need to complete my house project. After that, we’ll need to find a time when both of us have a couple of days off. It should be a time when we don’t have to worry about being somewhere the next day. During those days, I just want us to focus on having a nice time, recharge our batteries, and get away from any unnecessary stress. I want us to disconnect from the world for a couple of days and reconnect with nature.

Until next time!
