Playing house

June 14th 2021

Today, I took the last of the trash from my house to the local garbage dump. It was a full trailer of random trash and some items that I donated to the local thrift store. I got rid of some shelves, a couple of bar stools, a table, and some glassware and utensils from my kitchen. I realized that I had too many items in my kitchen that I hardly ever used, which made the drawers and cupboards cluttered. I am looking forward to having a more organized kitchen that will make cooking even more enjoyable. I have installed some new lights that will hopefully improve the cooking conditions. I am not a great chef, but I do love cooking. It gives me satisfaction to take fresh ingredients and turn them into a delicious meal, especially when I’m cooking for friends. Due to the pandemic, I haven’t been able to cook for friends as much, but I managed to make a decent meal for Easter.

I’m looking forward to preparing a meal for A soon. She hasn’t visited me yet, but I would love for that to happen. We’re taking things slow and getting to know each other first. Building trust and feeling safe in each other’s company is essential, and I wouldn’t want to pressure her into any situations she’s not comfortable with.I was initially unsure about inviting her for a camping trip in the forest, but to my surprise, she was more than happy to join me. She told me that she loves camping and is just as enthusiastic about camping equipment as I am. Even though I have many unnecessary camping items, I still ended up buying them because they looked like neat things to have while outdoors. I really need to work on my impulse control!

Until next time!
